Now, I have seen my fair share of Man Caves, because , well, the last place I lived was so small, I had to put my bed in the closet. It was pretty sweet cause it made the ladies feel all safe and….but that is another story….

This dude’s Cave is pretty damn sweet! It seems that Ohio State Alums know how to rock the basement!

Ok, in case you are not one of the four people reading Prewife.com, getting engaged eventually leads to living together (though not always). Many have chosen to just shack up and to those of you, I salute. I tried that twice and was burned, well, twice. Of course the first thing a man must do when moving in with his mate, is Beg for find a room that he can call his own. It can be anything really; basement, spare room, closet, pantry, between the ficus tree an the couch. Anywhere you can lay claim to the altar of your manhood. Look at it as a place for you to put your balls. You remember those? The ones she had mounted for you? Yup, thems the ones…
I was faced with this decision a few weeks back when we finally found “the perfect” place. It had an extra room that was too small for a bed. Instantly, I staked my claim to it. But before I could unzip my fly and mark the doorway, she announced that she had other ideas. After some serious negotiation, we reached an accord. It went something like this:
Her: “A what? A man cave? No. This will be perfect for a second CLOSET.
Me: “But baby, pleeeeeeeaaaasssseeeeee?”

After a few more rounds of give and take, I earned place to mount my cajones and the only concession I had to make is that the rest of the apartment must be spotless and up to her standards at all times.

No problem, that’s what a Roomba is for. So, next up is planning what to do with my little 5 by 10 slice of manhood. I’ve got some ideas….
